Library:Study Room
- Target audience: Current students, faculty and staff, alumni, retired faculty and staff.
- Location: Floors 5, 6, and 7 of the library, totaling 16 rooms.
- Opening hours: Same as library opening hours.
- Capacity: 1-2 persons.
- Usage instructions:
- Paper registration: Fill out a paper registration form at the 4th-floor library counter. Registration is limited to the same day of use. If all study rooms are in use during the requested time slot, reservations are allowed under the conditions that (1) it is within two hours after the earliest end time and (2) it is directly following the end of another reservation.
- Usage duration: Maximum registration of 4 hours per session. If there are no other reservations made within 1 hour prior to the end of the current session, extensions may be granted.
- Borrowing procedure: Present identification (student ID, service ID, ID card, driver's license, health insurance card, Mingzhi Sports Club membership card) at the circulation counter to borrow and receive an access card.
- Space reclamation: If a room remains unattended for continuous one hour during the reserved period, the library reserves the right to reclaim the study room and offer it to other patrons. When reclaiming study rooms, if personal belongings are left unattended, the library may remove and store them centrally. Any removed items will be kept for one month after announcement in the library. If unclaimed, the library holds the authority to dispose of them without objection from the user.
